Walter’s Bookshop is a small independent English Bookstore located in the city centre of Groningen. We sell English books (fiction, poetry, (social) sciences, nature, history, (graphic) Design, Picture Books, Cookbooks and Essays), postcards, posters and gifts.
In the space behind our store we often organize events.
Walter’s is owned by Bookstore Godert Walter Oude Ebbingestraat 53, Groningen
Webshop
You can order books through our webshop at Godert Walter. Of course you can also order books by mail, phone or in the store. It usually takes about 2 to 3 workdays for your order to arrive. Dutch books are usually in store the next day. It’s also possible to order German Books.
Gift Voucher
We sell Gift Vouchers specificly for our bookstore and Godert Walter. You can get them in one of our stores or contact us of you’d like us to send you one. Of course you can also get a Boekenbon which can be used in any bookstore in the country.
Buddy read
Stay connected by reading the same book together with your friend/co-worker/family member/situationship etc… When you buy two (more) copies of the same title* you’ll receive a 10% discount.
